What is happening in our country?

How can we feel proud to become an Indian? I am really feeling shocked and embarrassed. Do let me know what you all are thinking?
Once I have distributed the great speech of our Honorable President Dr. A. Kalam, and I would like to thank my Sir Mr. Monojit Banerjee, since he has published it on his blog. Here is the link: The Absolute Truth.

We all do it and I am not at all shocked. Some people do it literally being unaware and we do it indirectly. Do we really respect India? Ask yourself and you will get the answer. How many of us go to cast our votes? How many of us have ever done anything for India? Are we really to pick the waste which is thrown on the roads? Forget it.
Lets not act foolishly on some photos (where we even do not know the context), rather take this opportunity to analyze the position of India and Indians in our own life.
Thanks Ajinimc for your comment, but I am not an Indian who dont give votes. I travel around 800 Km on that day and caste my vote. I respect India too much and always try to do whatever is possible from me for my country. So that was my comment.
Thanks for awaring me from the error, I have rectified it.
If some "Indian" doesn't respect our national flag it is a legal offense. Any body can file a PIL (Public Interest Litigation) against the person shown in the photo (if you know who that is ).
As an Indian I demand that my country's flag be respected and that people do not treat it casually.
Whatever the context of the photo may be it can never be treated lightly.
Nirmala Devi, with all due respect to her spitituality 'business' and her followers who look up to her as GOD, is disrespecting the Indian Flag. DO NOT MISS THE OLD MAN BESIDE HER. He is her husbad(i guess also a shareholder in the religion business she is running). Her husband is an ex-IAS officer and chief of SCI.
